The Costa Brava is named “Best national destination of 2021” by the magazine Condé Nast Traveler.

The Costa Brava destination was chosen as the “Best national destination of 2021” by voters for the magazine Condé Nast Traveler España as part of the 2021 Condé Nast Traveler Awards. It was picked for the beauty of its coves and beaches, its coastal paths, its Mediterranean landscapes and light, the uniqueness of its fishing villages, its gastronomy, its fascinating history and, specifically, for the sheer quality of the destination.

The awards recognise tourist establishments and destinations in different categories ―national and international― including best urban hotel, getaway hotel, health, sports and wellness hotels, gastronomic hotel, new hotel, design hotel, national destination, international destination, Condé Nast Traveler Sustainable & Eco, as well as airlines and cruise companies, among others. The winners of the different sections were chosen by popular vote in a competition run on social media and in various digital publications.

Among the winners we would also highlight La Bionda hotel, in Begur, which won the award in the “Best design hotel of 2021” category.
