«Be Inspired», new newsletter on LinkedIn

Tourism professions with a LinkedIn profile now have a new channel specifically for keeping up to date in tourism news and trends.
Part of the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board’s new communication and social media management strategy, the «Be Inspired» newsletter was created on the LinkedIn social medium.
The newsletter specifically targets professionals in the tourism industry; it contains highly readable articles about the latest tourism developments in the destination, new market trends, sustainability and interesting facts. The articles are published in Catalan and English, depending on the subject. In January, the article “Costa Brava Girona Pyrenees 360 – The complete tourist experience” was distributed, followed in February by “El 2023 en dades – Un any per a l’optimisme” (2023 in figures – A year for optimism), ” and “Et vols certificar amb un segell de sostenibilitat però no saps quin?” (Do you want to certify yourself with a sustainability seal but you don’t know which one?)
Since its creation in January 2024, about a thousand users have subscribed to the newsletter, of which 500 subscribed within 24 hours. All subscribers regularly receive specific articles about current developments.
The newsletter is an additional service offered by LinkedIn and was activated by the Costa Brava Tourist Board profile this year. This communication service will soon be extended to the specific Linkedin profiles of the affiliated pages Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau and Costa Brava Training Camps.
