The Roca brothers’ “La Masia” project makes its international debut on the same day that their restaurant El Celler de Can Roca is named the world’s best restaurant by Restaurant magazine.

 In collaboration with the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board and the Catalan Tourist Board, the Costa Brava’s fourth culinary and tourism promotional event “Breakfast with stars from the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees” was held on the morning of 1 June at the Mandarin Hotel in London in the hours leading up to the announcement of Restaurant magazine’s “The World’s 50 Best Restaurants”. This year, the Roca brothers’ restaurant El Celler de Can Roca, voted best restaurant in the world in 2013 and 2015, offered the conference its “Ultimate”, focused primarily on “La Masia”.

A hundred international food, travel, and other journalists from 17 countries attended the promotional event that concluded with the traditional breakfast made from the finest products from Girona certified with the Girona Excel·lent label.
