Pere Vila, president of the Girona City Council, Marta Philip, Executive Vice President of the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board, and James Dulsat, Vice President of the Board, will chair Girona’s main tourism promotion organisation for the 2015-2018 period.

 The Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board presented its new Executive Committee for the next four years at a public event celebrated in the Government of Catalonia’s Josep Irla auditorium in Girona on 30 July. The event provided an opportunity for newly elected municipal officials and other mayors, councillors, regional councillors and technicians from the surrounding region to discover the destination’s current tourism landscape as well as the inner workings and responsibilities of the Tourist Board.

The members of the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board’s Executive Committee for 2015-2018 are Pere Vila, president of the Girona City Council, Marta Philip, Executive Vice President of the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board, and James Dulsat, Vice President of the Board. Ramon Ramos will continue to head the organisation as Director of the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board.

Upwards of 150 people attended the event, including representatives from municipal offices, tourism experts and the media.
