The 2024 ``Live twice`` advertising campaign has been launched, increasing the number of countries where visitor engagement activities are organised

Girona, April 2024

The “Live twice in the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees” advertising campaign, sponsored by the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board, resumes with a new media plan and increased presence in both local (Catalonia, Spain and France) and international markets (United Kingdom, Benelux, Germany, Switzerland and the Nordic countries), starting in spring and continuing until the end of 2024.

This year, just under a million euros have been allocated to brand coverage and positioning, and multiple platforms —offline and online communication media, television and digital platforms, social media, OTAs, large-format outdoor spaces and vinyl advertising decals on transport vehicles, etc.— have been leveraged to reach prospective audiences, with commercials, images and content about the destination adapted to individual target markets and countries.

These include actions such as vinyl decals on 40 electric taxis that drive in the centre of London; the projection of images of the destination in a circuit of 500 screens installed in shopping centres, shops and gyms in southern France, and commercials in cinemas in Paris; the dissemination of images through a circuit of 50 static screens in Amsterdam, and different images displayed on Brussels city buses. The campaign on digital platforms and social media is particularly significant, as it opens the possibility for expanding coverage and segmenting by products and audiences.

As regards the co-marketing strategy with tour operators, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board is focusing on the British, German, Benelux, Polish and Spanish markets, with partnerships with Jet2holidays, TUI, FTI, Nekera and Ávoris.

The goal of the advertising and co-marketing campaigns is to disseminate the campaign “Live twice in the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees” and attract visitors to destinations in the province of Girona for the 2024 season.
