The agreement to hold the IAGTO Golf Trophy in the Costa Brava in spring 2016 is signed with the world’s leading golf trade fair

The Costa Brava’s Golf Marketing Club and 14 other golf-related companies from the province participated in the International Golf Travel Market (IGTM) trade fair celebrated from 5 to 8 October. An agreement to celebrate the world’s leading golf trade fair for international golf tour operators and business on the Costa Brava in May 2016 to coincide with the Year of Golf in Girona was also signed.
The Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board also gave its traditional promotional presentation for more than 100 golf tour operators and the media during the trade fair, showcasing the Costa Brava golf destination and its bid to host the Ryder Cup 2022.
The promotional event kicked off with a networking session between Girona golf companies and trade fair visitors. The session was followed by a dinner prepared by chef Pere Arpa from the Michelin-star Ca l’Arpa restaurant in Banyoles, who made a special trip to Tenerife for the occasion.
