The ski resorts in the Girona Pyrenees start the 2017-2018 snow season in November

Girona, 1th November, 2017

For the 2017-2018 season, Girona’s ski stations feature improvements in terms of both facilities (access, ski lifts, ski hire, extension of ski runs and more snow cannons) and tourist services (ski passes and packages).

In addition, three ski resorts celebrate anniversaries this year: it is La Molina’s 75th year, Masella is 50 and Guils Fontanera celebrates its 25th anniversary. Details and news of each resort’s particular commemorative programme of events and celebrations for its customers and visitors are published on their individual websites.

Under the heading of new developments in tourist attractions in the Girona Pyrenees, we would like to point out, among others, visits to animal farms and food producers in the counties of Cerdanya, Ripollès and Garrotxa within the framework of the programme ‘Welcome to the Farm’; six circuits for BTT competitors and enthusiasts, created by Centre Trail Cerdanya in Prullans; guided cultural tours in Ripollès (Camprodon and Ribes valleys); and astro-tourism at the Astronomical Observatory in Albanyà.
