The specific range of the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees’ top products, activities and services, health and wellness are promoted in Madrid

Miriam Díaz-Aroca, Ernesto Collado and Marta Robles act as ambassadors for the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees in Madrid and take part at promotional presentations of the specific offering of Girona Province before over eighty professionals and journalists from Madrid specialised in top-end products, health and wellness.

As established in the Action Plan of the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board of Girona Provincial Council, from 5 to 6 June, the show-cooking area of The Art of Living, in Madrid hosted three workshop-based thematic promotional events with a view to promoting the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees’ specific offering of top-range products, activities and services and health and wellness.

On Wednesday 5 June, the Unique Premium Marketing Club, accompanied by five companies associated with the Club (Peralada Resort, Hostal de La Gavina, Alàbriga Hotel & Home Suites, PGA Catalunya Resort and Hotel Santa Marta), spent the day promoting Girona Province as a destination suitable for tourists with a high purchasing power. At midday, the promotion was addressed to thirty-five businesswomen from the Madrid branch of the Spanish Association of Businesswomen, who took part in a show-cooking workshop on macrobiotic cuisine with products from Girona Province and a lunch featuring a presentation of the Unique Premium Club that was attended by the journalist and actress Miriam Díaz-Aroca. In the evening, the presentation was given to thirty-five partners of Amante Magazine, who took part in a workshop to produce handcrafted fragrances using essential oils and plants from the Empordà region given by Ernesto Collado, owner of the signature perfume company Bravanariz. They were also introduced to the destination’s specific offering at a dinner with healthy cuisine and a presentation by the Club.

On the morning of Thursday 6 June, the Health and Wellness Marketing Club, accompanied by four companies associated with the Club (Aqva Banys Romans, Hotel Terraza, Alàbriga Hotel & Home Suites and Hotel Santa Marta), promoted Girona Province’s range of health and wellness activities and services for tourism. The event featured the participation of the writer and journalist Marta Robles and was addressed to fifteen journalists specialised in tourism, health and wellness, who took part in a show-cooking session of natural cuisine and were introduced to the offering of the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees at a healthy lunch with a presentation by the Tourist Board’s Health and Wellness Marketing Club.

The promotional strategy of the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board in Madrid is focused on the performance of actions targeted at highly segmented publics in order to highlight the broad range of tourism products offered by Girona province.
