The promotional activity #EuroFoodTrip is awarded the Leading European Marketing Campaign 2017 prize at the WTA

On 30 September, the gala for the European prizes organised by the World Travel Awards, which is aimed at tourist associations and companies on the continent, took place in St Petersburg in Russia. This year, the promotional activity #EuroFoodTrip, launched by the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board and the official tourism body of Emilia-Romagna, in collaboration with iambassador, was awarded a prize as the Leading European Marketing Campaign 2017 by the World Travel Awards organisation.
The #EuroFoodTrip activity was chosen by popular vote over other campaigns by great brands, such as EasyJet, Eurostar, Intercontinental and Royal Caribbean.
The Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board is delighted to have successfully headed a campaign that has obtained the recognition of the international tourist industry and is encouraged to continue working in the field of online tourist promotion.
